Wenau is a thriving industrial cleaning company, operating from Heerenveen, Friesland. We provide our services throughout the Netherlands, but are also active in Belgium, Germany, France, Denmark, Luxembourg and Sweden.
Our industrial cleaners are vastly experienced in cleaning large and small (production) companies. Wenau solely employs workers with a thorough education and everyone has their own specialty in the field of industrial cleaning. This allows us to offer a wide range of services to advise, guide and support our customers optimally.

Back in time
The family business Wenau Transport & Cleaning was founded in 1994, with the organization initially focusing on cleaning tanks at fuel sales points and removing the waste released during cleaning. Over the years, essential points such as safety, care for employees and the environment have been added to the company vision. This ensured that Wenau was one of the first cleaning companies in the Netherlands to be certified in accordance with ISO9001, ISO14001 and VCA-P.
This was followed by a broadening of the service package, with new market segments also being tapped. Partly due to the efforts of L. Weessies, the second generation within the family business, development and innovation remained two important pillars. The combination of the primary values and the innovative vision of the future ensure that Wenau continues to bind its employees to this day. This is because of the familiar working environment and the innovative developments within the organization.
The continuous growth of the organization subsequently resulted in the construction of a new 'green' head office at De Ynfeart in Heerenveen, which was put into use in 2013. The building at It Kylblok became the workshop. The result of this policy has meant that a large number of employees have felt connected to the company for a long time, with the corporate culture being naturally transferred to new colleagues. At Wenau, people and their safety are central!
