Industrial cleaning procedure
The various applications of high pressure are achieved by deploying butter washers, crawler hoses with turbo nozzles, a floor cleaning robot and blast heads for grit or glass beads. Wenau uses the SIR guidelines to ensure safety and quality. If the risks are too great, we choose to work with methods such as Non Men Entry or Less Men Entry. Wenau has several high-pressure machines ranging from 100 to 2.500 bar, with which hot water can be used for work up to 600 bar if necessary.

Shutdown management
Cleaning a factory installation is a periodic job for which we offer shutdown management. Cleaning the installation, pipes and/or parts is the core of the assignment, which can be completed within the shortest possible factory stop due to the expertise and experience of our specialists. After the cleaning request, an action plan is drawn up describing the steps in the cleaning process and working method.
Our professionals are flexible and by making the best use of equipment, work can be carried out in a short period of time, avoiding unnecessary costs.
OBAS emptying and cleaning
An OBAS is an oil/gasoline separator that prevents sand, oil and sludge from entering the sewer system. This method of waste separation causes the OBAS to fill with the pollutants, reducing the amount of water that can enter the tank. An OBAS system should be cleaned periodically to ensure proper functioning of the waste separator. Cleaning of the OBAS is both on demand and by contract.
If you want to benefit from optimal function, it is essential to clean and check the OBAS annually. Wenau performs quality control during cleaning and we dispose of released (hazardous) waste materials.
Onderhoudseisen
Volgens de NEN-EN 858-2:2003 moet de OBAS minimaal twee keer per jaar worden onderhouden. Het Bal verwijst direct naar deze norm.
- Slibvangput: slibvolume meten
- Afscheider: dikte olielaag meten, controle vlotter en waarschuwingsinstrument
- Bemonsteringsschacht: reinigen afvoerkanaal
Indien nodig worden olie en slib verwijderd, en de OBAS hervuld met schoon water. Ledigen is verplicht bij >50% slibvolume of >80% olieopvangcapaciteit.
De inhoud van de OBAS en slibvangput geldt als gevaarlijk afval (EURAL 13.05). Dit moet via een erkende inzamelaar worden afgevoerd.
Een logboek met gegevens over onderhoud, legen en reinigen is verplicht en moet beschikbaar zijn voor inspectie.
Naast het reguliere onderhoud, is er ook een 5-jaarlijkse controle voorgeschreven in de NEN-EN 858-2:2003. Deze controle omvat:
- Controle op lekkage, constructie, coatings
- Werking van onderdelen en automatische afsluiters
Deze controle moet worden uitgevoerd door vakbekwaam personeel en kan alleen bij een lege afscheider.
Conclusie: Goed en regelmatig onderhoud volgens NEN-EN 858 is verplicht en essentieel voor milieubescherming en bedrijfsverantwoordelijkheid
Water jetting
Water jetting is an essential technique in the industrial world. We remove various contaminants by applying high-pressure techniques. This is a specialized job, for which only approved materials may be used and people must be specially trained.
Our tools and materials provide a wide variety of cleaning methods, so there is a suitable solution for every job. If there isn’t a cookie-cutter solution, we provide an exclusive customized technique.
Objects to be cleaned by water jetting include:
- Storage tanks: clean walls internally or externally, bottom for inspection in oil, vegetable or animal fats, chemicals, ink, paint and plastics industries;
- Concrete works: cleaning, roughening, application of hydrodemolition;
- Asphalt: cleaning, blasting, etc;
- Bitumen installations: cleaning mixing mills, storage tanks, chain conveyors, pipes and funnels;
- Remove coating or scaling: silos and concrete cellars (at water treatment plants).
Chemical technical cleaning (CTO)
We use chemical technical cleaning when cleaning surfaces in a technical installation. There are strict safety requirements associated with this work method, as cleaning is done by using chemicals. Our specialists are specifically trained in delivering high quality work without compromising the safety of people and/or the environment.
Less- en non entry reiniging
Entering a confined space to perform cleaning operations is risky. For these risks, fortunately there are solutions. If a space is not optimally accessible, Wenau can still clean the space through less- and non-entry cleaning. We have a wide collection of certified equipment, allowing us to continue to guarantee safety without compromising on quality.
Robotic cleaning
We deploy our robot cleaner during cleaning operations where entering the (confined) space is not possible or too risky. Our robot is equipped with the option of cleaning under high pressure, so the job is performed under optimal conditions. As a result, we fully comply with the quality and safety requirements.
