Ship cleaning is one of Wenau's specializations. Our services go beyond just cleaning ships: Thanks to years of experience in the field, Wenau can advise on the right approach for various activities involved in cleaning and transporting ship waste. Wenau is happy to assist in the cleaning, collection and transportation of ship waste materials. Wenau is certified and in possession of the necessary permits to collect various waste streams from the shipping industry and to have them processed by approved processors. Wenau is experienced in carrying out various maritime activities, such as:
- Cleaning of fuel tanks and/or double floors;
- Cleaning of cargo holds for product changes;
- Collection of ship waste materials;
- Cleaning of engine room, ballast tanks and cofferdams;
- Cleaning pipework, box coolers (exchangers) and sea chests;
- Removing coatings from cargo spaces and/or exterior sides;
- Cleaning of grey, black and blue water tanks;
- Removing the beard from the underwater hull, i.e. the cockle tarnish caused by algae;
- Disposal of released fluxes;
- The chemical cleaning of piping systems;
- In urgent situations, including calamities of fire, product spills and spills. Wenau is happy to help, be it chemical spills, oil spills or cargo damage where fluids have been released.
